2012 Jerlov Award Nomination Guidelines

The next presentation of the Jerlov Award will take place during the Ocean Optics XXI Conference, October 2012 in Glasgow Scotland. Nominations for this presentation of the award must be received by June 1, 2012.

Nominations consist of:

  •   a single master nominating statement (no more than 5 pages),
  •   a suggested one-paragraph citation of no more than 100 words,
  •   an abbreviated CV of the nominee, and
  •   up to 5 additional letters of endorsement (2 page maximum) solicited by the master nominator (only one of which may be from the candidate’s institution – international endorsements are encouraged).
  • Submit all materials as MS Word or Adobe pdf attachments to info@tos.org. The master nominator serves as the point of contact.
